Obituary for Jeremiah J Guzzi Sr.



Jeremiah J Guzzi, Sr., 82, of Roselle Park passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am.
Interment will be a Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Wednesday.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, Mr. Guzzi was raised in Hoboken and lived in Bayonne before moving to Roselle Park 38 years ago.
He was a Dock Worker for Yellow Freight in Elizabeth, NJ for twenty years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of Teamsters Local 641.
Jeremiah was an extremely friendly man, who was loved by all who met him. He took great pride in everything he did and loved to work in his garden.
He is predeceased by his devoted wife, Carol A Guzzi, (nee: Radice), and a loving son, Joseph Guzzi.
Surviving are his two loving sons, Paul Guzzi and Jeremiah J Guzzi, Jr., three loving daughters, Sharon Roman, Nicole Guzzi and Tina Guzzi and seven adored grandchildren, Jonathan, Victoria, Tara, MiKayla, Jason, Karolina and Adrianna.
