Obituary for Irene R. Lins (Shafer)
Irene R. Lins, (nee: Shafer), 98, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth, NJ, at 10am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be on Monday 4 to 8pm.
Born in Newark, NJ, Irene lived in North Arlington before moving to Kenilworth 10 years ago.
She was an insurance agent for Everett & Carbin in Jersey City for 40 years.
Irene is predeceased by her beloved husband John Lins and a loving son-in-law Anthony Cocchia.
Surviving is a loving daughter Eleanor R. Cocchia; a cherished grandson Christopher; and an adored great-granddaughter Alexandra.
