Obituary for Mary E. Soltis (Dec)
Mary E. Soltis, (nee: Dec), 98, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at home.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 9:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 11am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Wednesday.
Born in Passaic, NJ, Mary moved to Kenilworth in 1954.
She was a head housekeeper for the Holiday Inn in Kenilworth for many years.
Mary was a member of the Rosary Altar Society at St. Theresa’s Church in Kenilworth.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband John N. Soltis.
Surviving are five loving children Ronald and his wife Patricia, John and his wife Jossie, Kenneth and his wife Lynn, Christina Harms and her husband Loren, and Mary Rapolas and Kenneth Hoefling; a dear brother Joseph Dec; 13 cherished grandchildren; 20 adored great-grandchildren; and her faithful caregiver, the blessing in her everyday life, Precious.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Atlantic Home Care Hospice, 465 South Street, Suite 100, Morristown, NJ, 07960.
