Obituary for Maria Antonia Magat (Altiveros)
Maria Antonia Magat, (nee: Altiveros), 72, of Westfield, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 9:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Helen’s R. C. Church in Westfield at 11am. Entombment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Tuesday.
Born in Manila Philippines, Maria Antonia came to the United States in 1984 to Jersey City, NJ, before moving to Westfield, NJ 18 years ago.
She was a finance officer for United Nation Development Program in New York City for 25 years, retiring 2006.
Maria Antonia is predeceased by her husband Leonard B. Magat.
Surviving is a loving daughter Maricar Postaski and her husband Anthony; two dear brothers Adriano and Marcelino Altiveros; two cherished grandchildren Meagan and Ashley; and beloved dog Patches.
