Obituary for June D. Kennedy (Nolan)


June D. Kennedy, (nee: Nolan), 89, of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 with visitation 8:30 to 10am. A Funeral Mass will follow to Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10:30am. Interment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery, in Colonia.
Born in New Your City, NY, June lived in Elizabeth, NJ for 50 years, before settling to Roselle Park.
She was a line assignment clerk for Verizon in Woodbridge for 25 years, retiring many years ago.
June was a member of the Rosary Alter Society and Bingo Worker at St. Mary’s Church in Elizabeth.
June was an avid reader and bingo player who loved to spend time with her family.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Earl R. Kennedy and her loving son Thomas J. Kennedy, and a dear sister Patricia Cadigan.
June is survived by her loving daughters Elizabeth Kennedy and Ellen Tavormina and her husband Anthony; five adored grandchildren Amy and her husband Marc, Jillian, Joshua, Denis, and Nickolas; two cherished great-grandchildren Arianna and Charlotte; and a dear brother James Nolan.
