Obituary for Julia Caforio (Vitale)
Julia Caforio, 101, (nee: Vitale), a lifelong resident of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Sunday.
Julia was the last survivor of the original Vitale Decedents and one of the oldest residents of Kenilworth.
She was a member of the Kenilworth Senior Citizens and a volunteer at Cranford Health & Extended Care receiving many awards for her dedication to the residents.
Julia was a wonderful homemaker, tremendous cook, and loved being surrounded by her family.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Giovanni Caforio; a loving daughter Dolores Magliaro; and an adored great-granddaughter Julia Rose Graham.
Surviving is a loving daughter Rose Jastrzebski and her husband Peter; two cherished grandchildren Charles Ortiz, Jr. and Debbie Ortiz; and two adored great-grandsons Kody Kurz and Michael Graham.
