Loving mother, grandmother, and sister
Gloria Mack, of Cranford, NJ passed away on April 27, 2016.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in St. Michael’s Church in Cranford at 10:30am. Mastapeter Funeral Home in Roselle Park is handling the arrangements.
Born in Bayonne, NJ, Gloria called Cranford her home for nearly 60 years.
Gloria had many passions and hobbies. She loved to decorate, refinish antique furniture, and sew. She was also a voracious reader and could always be found working on elaborate jigsaw puzzles (Gloria taught her grandchildren NEVER to look at the picture on the box when putting together a puzzle). She was well known for her authentic Italian cooking, which her family and friends continue to rave about and attempt to recreate for their own families on Sundays.
More than anything, Gloria loved her family. She was always an anchor of encouragement and support for her children and grandchildren. Spending time with her siblings was very important to her as well. She and her sisters spent many a Sunday afternoon attending plays, visiting museums, or just enjoying all NY and NJ had to offer.
Gloria is predeceased by her parents Alphonso and Marianna Procida; brothers Martin and Alphonso Procida; and sisters Pam Bamack, and Anne Zec.
Surviving are her adoring children Deborah DeCotiis (Jack), Patrick Mack, Lance Mack (Carol) and Jay Mack (Kelly); cherished grandchildren Carly (Jesse), Crystal, Jake, MaryGrace, Andrew, and ToniAnn; and loving sisters Josephine Iacano and Lucy Procida. Gloria is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
