Obituary for Percy C. Johns
Percy C. Johns, 65, a lifelong Union, NJ resident passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be Friday, April 8, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park with a service at 6:15pm.
Percy was a maintenance manager for Kreilkamp Trucking in Edison for 20 years and retired February 1, 2016, prior to that he was a maintenance mechanic for Union Trucking in Kenilworth for 24 years.
He was a Deputy Chief for Hillside Fire Auxiliary in Hillside for 35 years.
Percy was in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Staff Sergeant E5 and Jet Mechanic.
He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and the Galloping Hill Cruisers.
Percy is predeceased by his parents Percival and Ellen Johns and a brother Andy Johns.
Surviving is his beloved wife Debbie A. (Trubilla) Johns; three loving sons Anthony E. Johns, Michael J. Pantina, Jr., and Gary Pantina; one adored grandson Harrison Pantina; and one dear brother Harold Johns and his wife Ellen.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, in memory of Percy C. Johns.
