Obituary for Phyllis J. Lynch (Myers)
Phyllis J. Lynch, (nee: Myers), 81, of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 6 to 9pm on Thursday.
Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Phyllis lived in Ewing Twsp., NJ, before Roselle Park, NJ 48 years ago.
She was a secretary for Manpower in Cranford for 10 years, retiring in 1980, prior to that she worked for the State of New Jersey Department of Education in Trenton.
Phyllis was a 1950 graduate of Trenton High School.
She was active in the PTA and little league when her children were young in Roselle Park and loved traveling with her family.
Phyllis is predeceased by her beloved husband Martin J. Lynch, Jr.
Surviving are three loving children Kevin Lynch and his wife Eileen, Kathleen Young and her husband Larry, and Cyndy Wynne and her husband Frank; and six adored grandchildren Tyler, Danny, Connor, Kyle, Michael, and Rachel.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Holy Redeemer Health System, 354 Union Ave., Elizabeth, NJ, 07208 in Phyllis’s memory.
