Obituary for Isabel Mahon
Isabel Mahon, 89, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 10:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation is Thursday 4 to 7pm.
Born in West Mahoney, PA, Isabel moved to Kenilworth, NJ over 50 years ago then lived in Union, NJ for the past six years.
She was a home health aide for Visiting Nurse Associates in Cranford for 15 years, retiring many years ago.
Isabel was a member of the Rosary Society at St. Theresa’s Church, Catholic Daughter’s of America St. Theresa’s Court, and a Bingo Worker at St. Theresa’s.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas J. Mahon and a loving daughter Margaret Ann Mahon.
Surviving are four loving sons Charles, Thomas, Joseph, and Gregory Mahon; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity in Isabel’s memory.
