Obituary for Peter M. Klein
Peter M. Klein, 61, of Union, NJ, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 13, 2015.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Monday.
Born in Elizabeth, Peter lived in Roselle Park before moving to Union 20 years ago.
He was a carpenter for Carpenters Union Local 715 in Cranford for 15 years.
Peter was in the United States Air Force during peacetime.
He is predeceased by his dear parents Arland and Irene (Netta) Klein and his loving daughter Renee S. Klein.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 25 years Maria Rosa (Varela) Klein; two loving sons Anthony and Dominic Klein; three dear sisters Dr. Arlene M. Phillips and her husband Lance and their children Michael and Lauren, Michelle Lewy and her husband Steven, and Mary Pat Klein; a dear uncle Peter Klein, Sr.; two adored grandchildren Adrianna and Nicholas; four nieces Jessica, Amanda, Angelica, and Brianna. Also surviving are Sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Central Jersey Chapter, 740 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ, 07702, www.jdrf.org in Peter’s memory.
