Obituary for Remo Fierro
Remo Fierro, 91, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 8:15am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Spirit R. C. Church in Union at 9:30am. Entombment will follow to Hollywood Cemetery in Union.
Visitation is Friday 4 to 8pm.
Born in Vallata, Italy, Remo came to the United States in 1972 settling to Newark, NJ, before moving to Union 14 years ago.
He was a carpenter and grounds keeper at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union for 11 years, retiring 24 years ago.
Remo is predeceased by his beloved wife Emanuela Maria (Palmisano) Fierro.
Surviving is her loving children Antonio Fierro and his wife Maddalena and Rita Giorgio and her husband Tony, cherished grandchildren Joseph, Alessandro, Emanuela, and Remo, and many adored great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Holy Spirit R. C. Church, 984 Suburban Rd., Attn: Lisa Herrejon, Union, NJ, 07083 in Remo’s memory.
