Obituary for Raymond W. McElroy
Raymond W McElroy, Jr., 91, of Kenilworth, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his residence.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11am in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Please be at the funeral home at 10am. Interment will follow to Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Wednesday.
Born in Plymouth, PA, Raymond lived in Kenilworth for 65 years.
He was a Foreman for Monsanto Corp. in Kenilworth and also for the Rhoades Plastic Products in Linden, NJ retiring 26 years ago.
Raymond served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War as a Corporal.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Wanda S. (nee: Kosinski) McElroy.
Surviving are his two loving children Mark McElroy and his wife Mary; and Diane M Almodovar and her husband Nelson, a dear brother John McElroy, six cherished grandchildren, Justin, Stephanie, Mathew, Nelson III, Casey and Killian and one adored great-granddaughter, Jude.
Don’t be sorry that it’s over, be happy that it happened.
