Obituary for Gregory Kliminski

Gregory Kliminski, 71, of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at home.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rahway. Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Sunday.
Born in Orange, NJ, Gregory was raised in South Orange and lived in Roselle Park from 1975 to 2005, moving to Marshall Creek, PA, then settling to Toms River in 2014.
He was a Lieutenant with the South Orange Police Department for 31 years, receiving that promotion in 1987, retiring in 1997.
Gregory was a coach and in 1984 Man of the Year with the Roselle Park Youth Baseball, and past president of the Dad’s Club of Roselle Park from 1984 to 1989.
He is predeceased by his beloved first wife Diane Kliminski and a loving son Gregory M. Kliminski.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 38 years Rita (Schwarze) Kliminski; a dear stepson Dennis Pinkiewicz and his wife Margaret; and three brothers John, Richard, and James Kliminski.
