Obituary for Vincent Cicio

Vincent Cicio, 73, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Newark. Visitation will be 7 to 9pm Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday.
Born in Somerville, NJ, Vincent was a lifelong Elizabeth resident, a member of a century long Elizabeth, NJ family.
He is an entrepreneur, owner and operator of Bliss Electrical Supply Company in Elizabeth for 35 years and trained his grandson Joshua who is currently operating the business. He also is a real estate agent and prior to that a social worker for the State of New Jersey and the City of Elizabeth.
Vincent graduated Kean University receiving a Bachelors of Arts Degree majoring in Social Work and attended Harvard University obtaining a certificate from the Institute in Employment and Training Administration.
He was a lifetime supporter of many catholic charities and churches.
Surviving is his former wife Brunilda Cicio; seven loving children Susanne Kunigelis and her husband Anthony, Maureen Cicio, Charleen Carr and her husband Michael, Justeen Cicio and her fiancée Steve Weckesser, Vincent Cicio, Salvator Cicio and his wife Evana, and Dianne Horton and her husband Tom; a dear sister Maryann D’Angeli; 13 cherished grandchildren Jessica, Jennifer, Michael, Gianna, Nina, Andre, Salvatore, Cristian, Joshua, Kennedy, Liana, Allison, and Joseph.
