Obituary for Rose Orlando (DeTore)
Rose Orlando, (nee: DeTore), 94, of Elizabeth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to Rosedale Memorial Park in Linden.
Visitation is 1 to 4pm on Sunday.
Born in Newark, Rose lived most of her life in Elizabeth.
She was a member of the Rosary Society and Senior Citizens of Blessed Sacrament Church in Newark.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Silvio L. Orlando, two loving sons Sal and Gerald Orlando, four dear siblings John, Joseph and Tony DeTore and Emily Rossi.
Surviving are two dear daughter-in-laws Patricia and Lorraine Orlando, seven cherished grandchildren and thirteen adored great-grandchildren.
