Obituary for Alexander Gibb


Alexander Gibb, 82, of Roselle, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Robert Wood Jonson University Hospital at Rahway.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 9:30am, in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Please be at the funeral home at 8:30am. Interment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 7 to 9 pm on Monday.
Born in Jersey City, Alexander was raised in Bayonne, before moving to Roselle in 1960.
He was a truck driver for Quadrel Brother in Rahway for 25 years, retiring in 1993.
Alexander was an avid auto racing fan.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Gloria (Sangiovanni) Gibb.
Alexander is survived by two loving sons and their spouses James Gibb and his wife Ann Marie and Robert Gibb and his wife Maggie; a dear sister Anne Eberle; and three cherished grandchildren Douglas, Ryan, and Michael.
