Obituary for Emelia F. Webb (Rocco)
Emelia F. Webb, (nee: Rocco), 87, of Whiting, formerly of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2014.
A memorial gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park from 9 to 11am with a service at 11am. Entombment of cremains will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Born in East Orange, Emelia lived in Linden, Roselle Park, and Point Pleasant before moving to Whiting 13 years ago.
She was a clerk for the Union County Prosecutor’s Office in Elizabeth for many years before retiring 15 years ago.
Emelia was a member of the Roselle Park High School Pin Panthers and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Roselle Park Volunteer Fire Department.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Emelia is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert W. Webb, Sr.
Surviving are five loving children Maria L. Webb and her wife Carla, Matthew J. Webb and his wife Nancy, Louise A. Martin and her husband Harry, Elaine A. Webb and her fiancé David, and Robert W. Webb, Jr. and his wife Dawn, four cherished grandchildren Robert, Macklin, Wyatt, and Emelia. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Make A Wish Foundation in Emelia’s memory.
