Edward Bartley, Jr. 65, of Kenilworth, NJ died on Sunday, August 24, 2014 in the Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth, NJ.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, NJ on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa Church, Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
Visitation 6 to 9pm on Wednesday.
Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mr. Bartley lived in Elizabeth before moving to Kenilworth twenty-five years ago.
Mr. Bartley owned the EBS Trucking Company in Elizabeth for forty years, retiring fifteen years ago.
Edward served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is predeceased by his devoted wife Patty Ann (nee: Mangini) and loving daughter Nicole Ann Bartley.
Surviving are his four loving children,, Edward III, John, Lisa and Michael Bartley, a sister Marietta Disanti, and two adored grandsons, Izzy and Thomas Bartley.
